That's really unfortunate for those people under the age of 1 and immunocompromised. However, it's not other people's responsibility to inject their own bodies with anything that they don't feel comfortable injecting their bodies with. And no, that's not selfish.

My first is immunosuppressed. She wasn’t even able to receive live vaccines on time. So yes, when ppl make it sound like it’s not harming anyone, I want to get violent 😭

One of my good friends had Leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant. We live in SC and she was so scared of getting the measles before she could get vaccinated again. She beat leukemia but had to be afraid of dying from the measles bc people don’t care about others 💔

There’s literally a Nicu full of babies right now that have been exposed to measles because of someone else’s choice. Those babies have enough going on just trying to get healthy enough to get out of the icu. Now they may have to fight measles which is ridiculous.
