@zoexplores_: Welcome to: 📍Jameos del Agua 🌋Jameos del Agua was formed after the eruption of Volcán de la Corona over 21.000 years ago! Lava flows created a big underground tunnel system. It has a natural underground saltwater lake. 🏝️It was later transformed into one of Lanzarote’s most unique spots by César Manrique, who’s known for seamlessly blending architecture with the natural landscape. 🤝Tip: combine your visit with a tour to the nearby Cueva de los Verdes. This tour takes you deeper into the same lava tunnel, where you can walk 1km through the volcanic caves. Together, they make a perfect day trip in the north of Lanzarote. You can read all about it in my free Lanzarote Travel Guide!☺️ (link in bio)
