let the price control start from land price, building materials and cost of labor to build. you people will always do stupid Comparison, have you also asked for the price of building materials in Nigeria?? Do you know there was a time in Bamenda when a bag of cement cost 8000 and rod 12 8000.

what u should be complaining about is those houses that were built in 7 to 10years ago. landlords of such houses have no relationship or what so ever increasing their rents. Except otherwise (renovation). But u see present days, to put up a structure is not biscuit. so just leave the government out of this. If u know how much people pay to the council just to get a building permit you will not just stay in ur house and vomit out nonsense. Do you know the cost of a bag of cement? At first, at a construction site technicians used to collect 5k daily but now, it's 10k and above and maneuf used to be 2500frs but now it's atleast 4k. when u want to complaint, they will tell u about the hight cost of living and it's true. How much is fare from nolyko to Bokwango? or let's just say if workers have to leave from Muea to Mamoz what is the fare? After all these cost incured, u still want the government to control rents prices. Someone will decide to paint their homes with a bucket of paint that cost 45k to 65k/bucket There are a lot of factors taken into consideration Mr. My man if u have nothing to say, look for something and eat then sleep quietly. stop making noise on the Internet space
