I know I technically lost the challenge because I didn’t reply to your message within ten seconds, and honestly, I completely understand why you said I lost. Ten seconds sounds like more than enough time when you’re just watching the video, but when you’re actually the person receiving the message, everything feels completely different. The main reason I didn’t reply within those ten seconds is that I wasn’t expecting your message at all. I wasn’t sitting there staring at my phone waiting for you to text me. I was probably doing something else, and by the time I noticed the notification and opened the message, the ten seconds had already passed. It wasn’t because I didn’t care about the challenge, and it definitely wasn’t because I didn’t want the PC. I simply didn’t realize that those ten seconds were going to decide whether I won or lost. If I had known beforehand that you were about to send me the message and that replying immediately would give me a chance to win such an expensive PC, I would have replied instantly. I would probably have my phone in my hand, notifications turned on, and my fastest possible response ready. But unfortunately, challenges like this depend on timing, and sometimes you can lose even when you really wanted to win. I also think there’s something funny about the fact that I’m now writing a 500-word essay explaining why I didn’t reply in ten seconds. I could have simply replied with “sorry,” but apparently that isn’t enough anymore. So here I am, spending much more than ten seconds explaining the reason I needed more than ten seconds in the first place. I know you don’t actually owe me anything because I lost the original challenge. I’m not trying to pretend that I won or make excuses. I’m just taking the second chance you offered seriously. You said that if I wrote an article explaining why I didn’t respond within ten seconds, you would give me the PC, so I’m doing exactly that. To be completely honest, getting that PC would mean a lot to me. I would actually use it, appreciate it, and probably remember this challenge every time I turned it on. It would be an incredible upgrade, and I definitely wouldn’t take the opportun
