Clarification for the video: she’s talking when everything is totally normal, then takes a weird turn for no reason. That’s when you’re jinxed or whatever is called … if things are happening to you, because unconsciously you’re causing them… maybe your mental state is just attracting this stuff. You’re overthinking, you crash your car, you’re overwhelmed, and instead of getting therapy, you watch this thinking, "AAAA YEAH, I’m cursed!" Instead of, "Oh, maybe I crashed because I was distracted overthinking stuff I haven't fixed yet, and now I have to deal with it and take it to the engineer and gotta pay the bills and etc." Just saying...

back home (Bulgaria) we have a similar practice, but it is based of folk magic i believe. you have to bite down on the matches and then drink the water or something like that? can't remember. for some reason you have to be taught as a virgin and only women do it. at least that's how my family did it. I find it fascinating how practices migrate and slightly change through culture etc.
