The video is old... but what happened was that she hit a gas pump with her car, and a man blocked her in with his vehicle. She never actually hit the man's car. I'm not defending her, but I don't think it was the man's problem—he was just blocking her. She was very scared, and because of him actions, she ended up wrecking her car.

A girl I knew in HS got in a car accident. She was so afraid of what her parents would do that she committed suicide. Don’t push people to their brink.

I know her and her family this story was blown so far out of proportion- ultimately police found no original “hit and run” and she claims it never happened. the guy video taping her literally followed her very closely down the street so she drove into a parking lot to get away from him which he proceeded to follow her into and trap her in a parking spot accusing her of a “hit and run” not only this but this man also has other charges of harassment against him. She was afraid of him and trying to get away from being falsely imprisoned which is illegal in California where this took place. She is clearly distressed in the video because she was being trapped by a random creepy stranger and being accused of something she didn’t do! Imo she has every right to do whatever it takes to get away from being legally speaking “held captive” by a stranger videotaping and yelling at her! If the man truly thought he witnessed a hit and run he could have called police and reported it not followed her and trapped her and then proceeded to escalate this situation and sell the video to outlets for profit! I’ve known this girl my whole life her and her family are good people and this was a devastating thing that happened to all of them who are consistently still harassed over this video to this day even thought his incident took place years ago. Very sad what the internet can do in the hands of irresponsible creeps!

She’s completely in the wrong for hitting and fleeing. He’s simultaneously in the wrong for false imprisonment. No excuse for her actions, but with no injury or murder he should not have blocked her in.
