@the.legal.np: Before the Lindsay Clancy case goes to the jury, let’s grade BOTH sides. ⚖️ The prosecution had strong evidence—but also moments that may have hurt their credibility. The defense built a powerful mental-health narrative—but their case has vulnerabilities too. After weeks of testimony, competing experts, medical records, digital evidence and completely different interpretations of the same facts, this case comes down to one question: What did Lindsay Clancy’s mental illness mean legally at the exact moment her children were killed? Here’s where I think BOTH sides scored and where they lost points. #lindsayclancy #lindsayclancystory #legalnp
I feel like all the prosecution did was make me develop more questions

I can’t get past the lack of physical evidence that supports her actually doing it. You can’t tell me that her DNA was nowhere to be found.

She can be found not guilty - the prosecution has to prove she actually did it first

Is the jury even clean anymore? theres been so much spam and overwhelming lying online regarding this case if they are young or middle aged the amount of online content consumed could persuade them to believe these lies that weren't even brought up in court.

the prosecution’s witnesses contradicted each other regarding the murders. some said she took them all down together and separated them, and some said she took them down one by one, which also affects the recorded flights climbed testimony

Oh Hamburgers! :
The prosecutions entire defense is “Patrick said so” with little investigation from the police department and lack of solid evidence that she even did it besides her “confessions” under duress.

There is way too much complexity and inconsistency in this entire case (especially the prosecutions). As a result, there is too much reasonable doubt for a guilty verdict. Most of the prosecutions Expert opinions were based off unverified evidence and second hand accounts which led them to make assumptions rather than using facts.

I can’t believe the police didn’t actually investigate this.. bc I don’t think this story makes ANY sense at all.. like evidence doesn’t add up

I actually went into this case believing she was guilty….the prosecution blew it for me by day 2. As a icu nurse and true crime junkie I’ve watched a lot of court cases and I’ve honestly never seen such a piss poor, out of touch, despicable attempt at a prosecution

Man I just feel like the prosecutions entire argument is hearsay because Patrick is the one who told them the entire thing.

Honestly if I was a member of jury, I think the prosecution blew every part of this case even down to their witnesses. The only thing the prosecution did was make me hate them

I believe she was an unwell women who did it but I feel that it has not been proven beyond reasonable doubt so I think it has to be not guilty 🤷🏽♀️

The prosecution not only didn’t make me believe she did it intentionally, they made me second guess the fact she did it at all!!

There's also did they prove beyond reasonable doubt that she did it. I'm not stating my opinion either way, just that those aren't the only 2 options. ❤️

I don’t trust the treating clinicians. She should’ve been committed because of her SI regardless if she had a plan or not

i strongly doubt the prosecution Is winning this case tbh, NGRI Is extremely likely considering what the defense has shown, the prosecution didnt prove without a reasonable doubt that the murderers were premeditated, also a hung jury could still be possible
