My dad would call me and do this and ask me to verify gossip he heard at the coffee shop. So, me (in Dallas) would have to call my cousin (in Houston) to sort out the story from our little home town in the panhandle. He also explained all locations in reference to their location to the courthouse in our town. "You know those people, they live North of the courthouse."
