Who’s packing these for lunch? 🎒 You’ll need: - 1 ¾ cups Funfetti Premium Cake & Cupcake Mix - 3 cups Pillsbury All-Purpose Flour, plus more as needed - 1 tub Pillsbury Funfetti Confetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting - 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 package) - 1 ¼ cups warm water - ½ tsp salt - 48 cocktail-size smoked link sausages or hot dogs - 3 tbsp baking soda - 5 cups water, for boiling - Coarse salt, optional - Melted butter, optional To Make: 1. Mix cake mix with yeast, warm water and salt. Knead in flour until a dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled. 2. Divide dough into quarters and roll each into a 12-inch rope. Cut into 1-inch pieces. Roll each piece around a hot dog and pinch the ends to secure. 3. Boil 5 cups of water and slowly add baking soda. Boil pretzel dogs in batches for about 30 seconds and sprinkle with coarse salt. 4. Bake at 375°F for 12–15 minutes, or until golden. Brush with melted butter, if desired. 5. Remove foil from frosting tub and microwave for 30 seconds, or until melted and pourable. Serve with melted frosting and sprinkles.
