Million dollar baked spaghetti ✨ INGREDIENTS Red Sauce - 1 lb ground beef - 1 smoked sausage, diced small - 1 yellow onion, diced - 2 carrots, diced - 6 garlic cloves, minced - 1 jar passata (24 oz) - 2 tbsp tomato paste - 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth - 2 tsp garlic powder - 2 tsp onion powder - 1 tsp Italian seasoning - 1 tsp garlic & herb seasoning - 1 tsp red pepper flakes - Salt + black pepper, to taste - 1 tbsp heavy cream - 2 tsp sugar  For the beef: garlic powder, oregano + salt (1 tsp each) Cream Sauce - 4 tbsp unsalted butter - 7 garlic cloves, minced - 1 3/4 cups heavy cream - 1 oz cream cheese - 6 oz Parmesan, freshly grated - 1/4 cup reserved pasta water - 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano - 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning - 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp red pepper flakes - 1 tsp garlic & herb seasoning - Salt + black pepper, to taste - Pinch of MSG, optional For Assembly - 16 oz spaghetti - 8 oz mozzarella, shredded - Fresh parsley INSTRUCTIONS - Brown the smoked sausage and remove from the pan. Add the ground beef, season with garlic powder, oregano + salt, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside. - In the same pan, sauté the onion + carrots until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in tomato paste and cook until it deepens in color and starts to caramelize. - Pour in the passata. Add 1/2 cup broth to the empty passata jar, shake to get all that goodness out, then pour it into the pan. Add your seasonings, sugar, and return the beef + sausage. Stir in 1 tbsp heavy cream, cover and simmer on low for 45–60 minutes. - Cook spaghetti and reserve 1/4 cup pasta water. - Melt butter, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in seasonings, then add heavy cream and cream cheese. Once smooth, gradually add Parmesan, mixing well between each addition. Stir in the reserved pasta water, then toss the sauce with your cooked spaghetti until creamy and coated. - In a large baking (9x13) dish layer red sauce, creamy spaghetti, red sauce, and mozzarella. - Cover and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
