@theowletblog: I loved visiting these European destinations...but I wouldn't rush back 😬 BEFORE YOU KICK OFF... just hear me out a sec!⬇️ 1. Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪 Amazing city, so much to see and do, but it's overwhelming, expensive and VERY nightlife focused which isn't really my thing. We're not really planners so I felt like we didn't make the most of our time here. I would go back, but only once we've saved up enough to stay more centrally and I'd make a proper plan of what to do BEFORE we go. 2. Ålesund, Norway 🇳🇴 Beautiful place with some lovely cafes and amazing hikes, but the town is very quiet with only a couple of supermarkets. If you visit at different times of year it's interesting (we went once in summer, once in winter), and if we ended up there again I'd happily repeat a hike, but I'm not aching to go back there. 3. Rønne, Denmark 🇩🇰 SO QUIET. Like "I felt the need to whisper in the street" quiet. We spent the entire day wandering around a ghost town wondering where everyone was. We found a lovely cafe full of locals and the food was incredible, but we saw no one else all day. I think this is a "you need to hire a car" kind of place, which isn't something we like doing. 4. Bruges, Belgium 🇧🇪 I know people love it, as did I when I visited back in 2019. Now it feels like Belgian Disneyland. You can't walk down the street for the amount of tourists and almost every shop and cafe is focused on serving them. I don't hate Bruges, but I've been there three times now thanks to cruise ship scheduling, and I loved it a little less each time. There are so many other pretty Belgian towns to visit, so I'd explore somewhere else next time. What do you think? Do you agree? I'd love to hear where you wouldn't rush back to in the comments 👀 . . . #europedestinations #europetrip #europetravel #uktravelbloggers #cruisebloggers #cruiseshipports
