This is the typical kind of outfit I'll wear now to be comfortable at home as a guy managing a belly with a girth of 75-inches (when sitting down, at least... as I recently found out from a prior post). #fatbelly #weightgain #bigboy #beergut #pregnantbelly Underwear with a snug & thick elastic waistband to provide a modicum of support underneath the belly; stretchy gym shorts; and, most enjoyably, an old t-shirt from my prior size. These old shirts still fit me comfortably in the chest and arms, but are now way too small to even make it over my belly, which allows for it to exist unencumbered and comfortably. Something I can do at home, but obviously not in public (even though, yes, I know the shirts I can wear in public are also now stil revealing too much). I grabbed this little clip before starting chores this weekend. Would you all be interested in a video showing how my belly affects my movement and clearance when cleaning around my house? Doing dishes, scrubbing floors, reaching into closets, etc. It's definitely a Herculean feat these days... (I’ve been bad with keeping up posting on here and have mostly just been updating my Instagram @snack_nicholson32… this is from October 19th.)

THIS IS HOW I FAILED 🥺😰 I’m a few years deep into this creative entrepreneurship thing, but I still managed to experience THIS 👇🏼 so damn strong! Around October/ November of 2023 I was preparing to create a Special on personalized journals that come with personalized pens in a way that would be super cost effective for my customers. Here’s a glimpse of what I did: 👉🏼 Checked with my supplier for unique journals I could customize 👉🏼 Check for gorgeous pens I could customize 👉🏼 Got packaging sorted 👉🏼 Got my customizing machine sorted 👉🏼 Created samples 👉🏼 Created lots of content & a photoshoot 👉🏼 Prepared some copy for advertising, etc Everything went so well, and everything SOLD OUT within a few hours after I advertised on social media 🤯 I started packing and sending orders immediately, and started putting customers who were still interested on a waiting list. THEN CAME THE SHOCK OF MY LIFE! While still packing orders and sending orders, a customer contacted me and said both the journals they'd ordered and received came apart😨😱 I thought, could it have been something that happened in transit? Did it happen here and I didn't see it? I was so worried, and so embarrassed! I started checking the other journals and guess what- many of them started falling apart too😵‍💫😵 I now had to start refunding all the customers that had already paid and I had to explain to the rest why they were not going to get their orders🫠 I felt so bad since the products all looked so beautiful from the outside🥲🥲🥲 So I just basically lost all the income that would have come in because of that whole situation🤷🏾‍♀️ Anyway, here's a little thing for you to remember: in entrepreneurship, there’ll ALWAYS be new hurdles to navigate and what we can control is our responses to them. Yes I was extremely disappointed and so so sad. But I decided to be upfront about what was happening and almost everyone understood. I guess there's always a solution, even if sometimes the solution doesn't directly favour you🤷🏾‍♀️ I failed, but I'm still on top of things and on to the next one!
