Another creator said they were working on a big stock buyback and they put this ad out so their stock would go down so they could buy a bunch of their own stock back. If that's true, it's even grimier.

I've *heard* (not looked into) the actor in the commercial (maybe all of them?) are employees of the company, so that would tell you right there how they managed to get people to agree to be in it... they're already too deep in the sauce
