It would be very cool if you made one that could included a second ribbon behind the first, so you could trick the players with a 2-phase fight. It would work best if the 2nd ribbon was the same color as the body, but that might not contrast visually enough to look like a health bar.

not 3d print related, but you should make a boss whose battle relies on the meter. all the players will attack as normal, causing the meter to lower. but, what you havent told them, is that this boss doesnt use it as a health bar, but as a patience meter.
