@shailesh__169: A massive and sudden flash flood has struck Rasuwa district in northern Nepal after a huge volume of water entered the Bhote Koshi River from the Tibetan side on Wednesday morning. The Timure and Syabrubesi areas have suffered significant damage, with reports of settlements, roads, bridges, hydropower projects and market areas being affected. Authorities have issued high-alert warnings for downstream areas along the Trishuli River, including parts of Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan, urging people living near riverbanks to move to safer locations. The full extent of casualties and damage is still being assessed. Nepal has mobilised security and rescue teams, while Prime Minister Balendra Shah has convened an emergency meeting to coordinate the response. besides filming, this was a smart man, get to higher ground. most people tried to outrun the water, that blue house is now a reference point to what power this was. 24 hours before there was water coming through the ice, why weren't they evacuated to higher grounds already? disaster, living in a valley has huge risks, we know it but still.😔
