@thesameerproject: Children gathered around what remained of their bombed tents in the Al-Baruk area of Deir al-Balah. Around them are shattered belongings, the smell of gunpowder, and the ruins of the little their families had left. They have already endured displacement, hunger, loss, and exhaustion. Now, once again, families have lost everything. The Sameer Project had stopped purchasing tents because of our financial constraints, but this is an emergency we cannot ignore. The bombings have not subsided, the genocide has not stripped. We are urgently trying to replace 20 tents for families affected by the attack. Each tent costs just $105 after commission.
