@algosawyer: One of the biggest things I’ve learned from working with traders is that most people don’t need MORE information. They need a framework. I’ve watched traders go from consistently struggling to becoming profitable simply because we helped them stop guessing and gave them an actual system to follow. For some people, that means having clear rules for when to enter, when to stay out, and how to manage risk. For others, we take it a step further and use an algorithm that can execute the strategy automatically based on predefined rules. That’s what I love about algorithmic trading. You can take the emotion, the FOMO, and a lot of the second guessing out of the process and replace it with rules, data, testing, and consistency. It doesn’t mean every trade wins. Nothing in trading does. But having a tested process is a completely different game than opening a chart every morning and hoping you make the right decision.
