There’s alot to do outside clubbing. A lot of things are more in the inner circle. In the last 3 weeks I’ve gone to free yoga classes, hiking, Michelin star tasting, a mixtape burning class and a tote making class as well. If you want some suggestions I can send what I look at for calendar ideas.

Honestly, living in the inner loop provides you all of the things that your looking for . There’s plenty of things outside of the club / lounge scene that can be offered in Houston .

If the party scene is all you’ve gotten out of Houston, you aren’t doing it right. Move a little closer to the loop, expand your network, join a warehouse gym, checkout the many jazz nights, museums, small artist events, checkout the parks, festivals, and much more…

I think you should at least try to live inside the loop. Theres soooooo many events, small businesses, and networking opportunities. Yes the partying is there but there’s other activities as well just have to be open to it.

I’m from Miami. I’ve only stayed here for so long because cost of living. I’m at the point my mental is more important so I might try San Diego. Pay that premium for nature, weather and overall better life.

you will just know when a place feels like home. as someone who's lived in many places, i was in ATL for less than a year before i knew it wasn't home for me.. people who'd lived there for years were like you didn't even give it a chance. no, that was the chance 😅 also, every home doesn't have to be permanent.. just try out different places until you find "home."
