Because they aren’t actually testing their children in those countries. Especially high functioning autism. They will say “that’s how children are” or “ they will grow out of it”. They’re in denial

Correction: access to autism diagnosis rates globally….if u compare autism in women from years ago to now you will see an increase. These women had the same genetics as when they were kids, they are just able to get diagnosed fairly now

Autism, especially in older generations, typically go undiagnosed and that applies globally. Additionally, this map may not even be accurately reported cuz some countries skewer numbers to make it seem a certain way. I can go on and on but a lot of countries don’t even consider certain medical diagnosis as an actual diagnosis so… plus a lot of countries cannot afford actual medical care bcuz of how corrupt or poor their folks may be.
