She is actually right. By Sharia law the child stays with the parent that is fit to care for the child with joint custody and of the child is an infant he or she stays with their mother and the financial burden is on the father and not the mother in any case.

For anyone saying its a lie go educate yourself. My friend is divorced and she got the kid, house & child support. Sharia law doesn’t mess with mother’s rights they do this purposely to discipline the men because in arabs culture there is a lot of stigma for divorced women.
