Only invite kids if you’re okay with them acting like kids. I had my own kids there but my parents looked after them & had the back room full of toys for them to keep them entertained. But I never take my own kids to other weddings as I never have fun.

Absolutely not, I didn’t have kids at my wedding and it was fantastic, I also work on a function bar and the kids are always running wild and causing issues

Nope! We had sibling kids only during the day then said they all had to be gone after the meal before evening guests arrive including our own. Kids and alcohol don’t mix in my opinion, weddings are boring for them also!

We had babies, kids and teens at my daughter’s wedding, it’s a family celebration and they’re family! My daughter doesn’t have kids yet but welcomed those that had. We got a huge bouncy castle with inflatable slide outside, and gave them a few favours like a drawing tablet and thermal instant camera. They were the most perfectly behaved all day through a church service and wedding reception, right into the night. I think it says more about you and your guest list if you expect kids to be feral and parents not to be able to have a nice time with them…
