Obviously I don’t know the ins and outs of your household but I am in an almost copy and paste situation. My son is about to turn 4 next week and and my daughter is about to turn 1 in October. I have come to realize the magic isn’t materialistic. It’s truly just in the magic of being a mom. Which trust me I struggle to find sometimes. But little things like decorating Christmas cookies, or showing them your favorite Halloween movie and eating popcorn. Those are small things that will stick with him forever. But also if you figure out the whole dreading the holidays thing let me know. Because my only tactic is faking it till I make it.
