He just liked this LinkedIn post: “Google is going to come out with an AI content-killing algorithm sometime in the next six to eight months. These recent spam updates are testing it. Regurgitated AI content destroys Google's models. Right now, the internet is fifty to sixty percent AI slop. Google's public statement that they ‘Don't care how you create content’ is completely untrue. I wish they would stop saying this because they have said that all AI content out of the box is considered low quality. That means they do care.” This is in response to an article about how Google's recent August spam update took out a lot of SEO AI content. Hridoy Reh got hit by the update. All posts were one hundred percent AI-generated content. Things were going fine until the update, then boom, just lost everything. It is crazy that the face of Google Search is liking this post. If it is true, it will shake up the entire internet. All the major LLMs are adopting variations of Google's SynthID, which they developed to spot AI content. Should you worry? Well, this is still just a prediction based on the recent August spam update. The victims of the update were 100% AI. A lot of them were scaled content.
