Yeah because they put out a base model after base model. You can’t just bring out a very simple game with one cool feature. The Finals added destruction and character variants to at least keep things interesting, but look how that turned out. You’ve gotta go balls to the wall. The reason I didn’t buy Empulse. I thought it looked interesting but with the $20 price tag I wasn’t gonna pay for a game I knew would fail with the company’s track record. I don’t think 1047 has released a game that I thought was bad by any means but they seem to struggle with keeping people invested in their games
