@eyedropshop: That little eyelid twitch is often called eyelid myokymia, and most of the time, it’s harmless. Common triggers include: ☕ Too much caffeine 😴 Not enough sleep 😰 Stress 💻 Long periods of screen time 👁️ Dry or irritated eyes A few things that may help: • Prioritize sleep and rest • Try cutting back on caffeine • Take regular breaks from your screens • Give your eyes time to relax throughout the day • If your eyes also feel dry or irritated, have them evaluated to find out why • Find ways to reduce stress when possible If the twitch won’t go away, becomes more intense, causes your eye to close completely, or starts affecting other areas of your face, have it checked by an eye care professional. Sometimes your eyelid is just telling you it needs a break. 👀💙 #EyeTwitch #dryeyes #irritatedeyes #EyeHealth #Optometrist
