quadstar & Leroy Diesel are gonna be your best bet for parts for these engines.

I didn't think you could really add boost to the 6.2 or the 6.5

if you need parts for the 6.5 or information Ive used quadstar tuning and had really good luck with them also the military probably ran jp8 fuel in it which is jet fuel and diesel mixed which has very little lubricity and is really bad on the fuel system

probably an fsd relocation kit. the fuel solenoid driver gets hot on the stock one and someone made a relocation kit. I had a 93 with an nv 4500. if it a mechanical db 4011 or whatever, you might not need the relocation kit/ heat sink

a friend of mine had to replace his head gaskets for his. it's in a square body but it's a military Humvee engine. the head gaskets for the Humvee engines have gotten hard to find. you should buy a couple sets just in case

You need to hit up united turbo and fuel in Birmingham to see about the pump. They should be able to rebuild it for you or point you in the direction of someone who can

The fuel filter sits in the back. And yes relocating the PMD is a must!

Quadstar running has parts and injection pumps for 6.5

You should run an injection pump from classic diesel designs

The starter bracket actually bolts to the front of the starter, there’s a stud on the starter and a threaded hole somewhere on the block around the front of the starter. If you’re getting a new turbo, it’s easy to swap an HX35 off of a Cummins, and they breathe much better than a stock 6.5 turbo

I've rebuilt a lot of these pumps and fun fact, diesel will varnish in these the dB pumps especially if they sit. The amount of John deere 4020 pumps I've opened up and they smelled exactly like old gas is dumb
