They came from London and became famous for their emotional synth pop and Jimmy Somerville’s unforgettable voice. Their biggest song, “Smalltown Boy”, was released in 1984 and became a real classic. I love how this song sounds both beautiful and a little sad, and even after so many years it still has something special about it.
