@iffysreads: Historical fiction that deserves to be read by everyone 🕰️ I forgot to include Lonesome Dove on this list and I’m currently reading East of Eden which I think will be joining also! What’s your favorite historical fiction read? Here’s 3 that I’m dying to get to: Pachinko Homegoing There are Rivers in the Sky #historicalfiction #historicalfictionbooks #fivestarreads #mustreadbooks #BookTok
Homegoing is stellar!! I loved There are Rivers in the Sky and Pachinko was very good. So far this year, The Seven Daughters of Dupree has been my favorite historical fiction.

Lemon trees is the best book I have ever read. I’m a psychologist and her depiction of ptsd is so r accurate. I was on the edge of my seat and I cannot describe the way this book and this character imprinted on my heart.

Based on your recommendations In sure you will love these. The Covenant of Water and Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. The Mountains Sing by Nguyen Phan Que Mai set in Vietnam (war & generational trauma trigger warning), All The Things We Cannot Say & The Warsaw Orphan by Kelly Rimmer. A fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. All books by Thrity Umrigar, especially The Space Between Us and it's sequel, and Honour.

I feel like you would love the true true story of Raja, the gullible! I *loved it* — it’s about a gay professor in Lebanon and his mother, through lots of the country’s recent history.
