I heard someone say that aha(nihilux) is no longer the aeon of elation because she abandoned her own path and thats why in 4.1 the reward to winning the phantasmoon game is to become a permanent aeon of elation(not just for 1 min) because the path of elation want to find a new aeon

aha has taken on disguises before and nihilux has been foreshadowed to be aha for PATCHES now, nihilux isnt a real person anyway, theyre just aha's disguise... aha is still the concept of elation, aha also does things just for fun, and if i were the god of doing fun things of COURSE id at one point pretend to be a human doing insane stuff like having a million random jobs... the only thing i dont like about it is that everyone will start misgendering aha now and treat it as though aha is strictly nihilux..

I think in Cyrenes case was because she was from the beginning set as the ghost who hunts the narrative and then mem as the gift from Fuli so that underlying basis of her being very important figure was solidified quite early whilst Nihilux took a very quick and comical approach if it wasn’t for leaks that would have totally taken me for surprise

just because they wrote it that way doesnt make it good. you fail to understand that aeons have always been essentially a force of nature, guided by their paths. they were unfathomably out of reach so it had value when mentioning the word 'aeon'. now that aha can be in human form it basically sets a precedent for the idea that aeons arent really as out of touch as they seem to be. it doesnt even matter if its aha specific: they can simply write another piece of lore to introduce the idea of human avatar aeons. pretty soon aeons are like buddies that occasionally come for a tea and the whole idea loses what made it fascinating in the first place

I really don’t get the hate toward Aha/Nihilux after the reveal. People were hyped when Sparkle said “I am Elation” and immediately started theorizing that she or Sampo could be Aha, but now that Nihilux actually IS Aha, suddenly everyone’s mad . Aha being humanoid makes perfect sense too. They’re literally one of the Aeons closest to humanity and have disguised themselves as a human before. The only thing I dislike is that Nihilux feels way more reserved after the reveal. Sparkxie and even Sampo honestly embody Elation better. I wish we’d seen more of that chaotic, maniacal side. As for the design hate: it’s Alice in Wonderland themed Nihilux has Queen of Hearts imagery, Sparkxie has the rabbit imagery, and Sparkxie literally wants to embody Elation. Of course they’re gonna resemble each other. Hating the whole design over the color palette feels so forced. And for the “Aeons should be incomprehensible higher beings” argument, I get it, but Aha can still be omnipresent. Nihilux is just a manifestation/persona. Aha is still an actual Aeon and can exist everywhere. I don’t think every Aeon will be handled this way either. Aha just happens to be the one Aeon where this concept fits perfectly.

might just be my personal opinion but if nihilux was a man, ppl would be glazing him hard and eagerly wait for a male version of akivili to appear in the future patch (and there would be less ppl hating about aeon having human playable forms) 🤷 though im not a personal fan of playable aeon, it is what it is and nihilux in red queen form is gorgeous 🫶 if masked fools are based on alice in wonderland, i eagerly wait for sampo sp, future cheshire cat, mad hatter, catterpillar, etc
