Then they lie on that paper trail and there’s not much an employee can do. Unless you know your manager has a DWI and is driving the company car without the Ignition Interlock Device required to blow to have the car start. Then he says you’re lying and you show the court paperwork and have enough for everyone since it’s been emailed on a timed schedule to see the file in real time .

Jokes on them. I was planning on quitting for months to attend a masters program. They put me on a pip and all. They finally fired me after I had a lawyer send an email requesting docs. Got unemployment and am waiting on a settlement from the lawsuit for various things. All plus a nice little summer vacation before starting class.

They’re hoping to make you so uncomfortable and nervous and wear you down that you’ll just quit. But not me I’ll keep taking their paychecks until they finally do it. When things are that bad I’ve probably already checked out anyway so it won’t even be upsetting.
