yall... its a WICKING tub. NOT wicken. wicking is the process of slow absorption through the bottom of the soil. she's got a thick texas accent. just means ya dont have to water everyday bc the tub is taking care of it.

had to read a few comments to figure out what it was. clearly, planting... but how it worked, I had no idea. now I'm only left with one question... can I use this indoors/greenhouse setting? your tub had a few holes on the sides, which i thought would be for drainage, but now I see the point is to hold some water the fabric pushes into the soil. was it just an old tub that had some holes or are those needed?
