you are 100% correct and I love your line of thinking! all these types of stories have supernatural lore etc but that doesn't mean the laws of physics and thermodynamics don't exist all of a sudden (unless the lore of that universe specifies these things are different than what we have in our universe)

ok, trying to make fictional characters work in real life is cool. Asspasialy when it's demi humans, but completely ignoring the 'magic' part of character is not cool. Why not bother yourself to explain why the character won't work and how the magical part would have to support them. Like in owl house with its witch hearts, try to explain why releasing reiatsu have effect as it is. And stop with this ragebait type of content, anime fans don't read they react.

It’s definitely a cool and unique take, but you are sort of changing the magic aspect into physics when it isn’t really defined as that, spiritual pressure and reiatsu isn’t thermal energy spiritual pressure is you’re innate reiatsu being used as a powerful force to either negate or incapacitate your opponent. People changing their swords is done via the power of names which is purely conceptual and can’t be converted into physics without just changing how it works entirely. But I think other shows could work a lot better maybe one piece or Naruto with the kekkai genkai or devil fruits
