Out of state Passholder, kids are 8, 11, 14, Epcot is my favorite park. I’ve stayed at all of those resorts, and I think you would love Boardwalk and BC based on the light and airy vibe. Riviera is beautiful, but it leans a little stuffier and less light and magical (I prefer it without my kids) AND it doesn’t have boat access like Boardwalk and BC, which is important if the Skyliner will be down. Definitely don’t stay at GF if you’re only doing HS because you can take the monorail from GF to TTC to Epcot if you’re not doing MK, but GF to HS you’d need the bus. Personally, I would stay at BC and do Stormalong Bay on Saturday after you check in, and then park hop Epcot to HS on Sunday. If you only want to do Epcot and don’t care about Stormalong Bay because you’re about to go on a cruise, stay at GF and watch the MK fireworks from the resort on Saturday night.

I agree with the comments to pick the park and hotel that is in close proximity - if epcot then boardwalk or beachclub, if Magic Kingdom then grand floridian 🥰 especially if you are only going 1 park day, pick the hotel closest to your park. The park also depends on what she likes - Epcot has great rides but HS has a nostalgia feel for me

Beach Club. Awesome pool, the boardwalk has so much fun stuff at night. You can take the boat or walk to Hollywood Studios. See the Epcot firewalls at night.

Based on what you said…Beach Club. Can walk to Epcot. Do one full pool day. Have a lunch/brunch at Cake Bake shop. (Also you are an awesome aunt!)

If you are going to Epcot and/or HS, I would pick the Boardwalk. It’s an easy walk or boat ride to both parks. Beach Club has an amazing pool, but if you are only there for 2 days you may not want to waste time at the pool.

Boardwalk...that's where we stayed for my daughter's tenth b-day trip. I also took my (oldest) niece that trip for her first Disney trip. She was seven. We love Epcot.

I LOVE boardwalk and if you go to Epcot, it would be a no brainer to choose there or beach club, but if you’re only going to magic kingdom I would say Grand Floridian!

I believe everyone who has never been to Walt Disney World before should start at Magic Kingdom. But that's me. If you want to show her your favorite park, I'm sure she would love that as well!! For resorts, I used to be a monorail loop girl. The Grand Floridian is a fave. But once I stayed at Boardwalk, and then The Beach Club, and walked to Epcot, I changed.
