Just because the light doesn't light directly at the oncoming car it doesn't mean that it doesn't blind. Just like you see their light they see yours. Yours are still very very bright and often blinds the other driver

I can assure you, it is not only still blinding me, it's also highly confusing because the lights are flicking off and on in different places and at different angles. That, and the matrix system is reactive, not proactive. It only activates when I've already been blinded.
