Yes, the pity! I had a married couple approach me whilst I was chilling by the pool on a solo trip. They offered to buy me a drink, offered me sunscreen, wanted to know when i’m returning home? If I’m going to be ok for the rest of the duration? Like damn, do I look unhappy fr?? 😂😂

Not gonna lie I do kinda feel better about myself when a women comes to me with relationship problems. I don't contribute any information I just listen and nod. And say "so what are you gonna do? in the back of my mind I'm just like "That could've been me" but its not so we ballin😝😂 But yes being single is not for the weak I'm also trying to maneuver myself to it but its beating my ahh to a pulp but I love my freedom so this is the best decision for me.

Interesting take. I don’t want to be single, but haven’t found anyone special so maybe I’m just coping. But I still vacation and date men. And have them around fixing things and buying things. I just don’t like anyone enough to really commit to a contract

i’m both. i enjoy the fact that i don’t have to deal with mens bs AND happy being single. i enjoy when ppl tell me their success stories in love & marriage, i can be happy for them and also know i don’t want that. it’s both.

I’ve been single for 11 years; men have asked me out, but I didn't accept. I see people getting married and others separating, but I’ve never viewed that as a reason to stay single. It has nothing to do with men. I am truly, genuinely single and happy. 💅🏽❤️🔥
