There is no such thing as a pure bred toy aussie. They are almost always backyard bred mixed with pomeranians or other small breeds. Either way people need to do research before buying high energy working breeds like Aussies.

I have an Aussie who is standoffish with strangers and barks. But he adores my grandchildren and they can climb all over him!!! Aussies are the best…all sizes!!!

my aussie (not mini) is reactive to anything she hasn't seen before...we bark at shoes in the wrong place....toys that might have been moved....and if the other dogs bark it all out hyper jumping....I will be watching.

My mini Aussie will use the potty pad then go outside. She can be outside two hours and go straight in and use her pocket pad. I don’t understand that.

i have a toy aussie as well and he likes to sit in my lap when new people are here but never bites or gets aggressive just likes to be in my lap or next to me when new people are in the house is this bad?

Goku is a 10 yo Toy Aussie, he’s reactive as well & beginning to lose his vision which makes it worse 😭

My toy Aussie acts like this and even nips people only when he’s with his humans. If we have a tall man as a guest, he would only nip when their back is turned 😬 otherwise when I’m not around he does great with vet, groomer, boarding- actually praised for being the best 😅

I have two toy Aussies and they’re both well behaved and well mannered- it has to do with working with the dog. It’s not always about genetics.
