That’s my only gripe with Tesla. To have a 2023 vehicle, just 3yrs old, THREE, and Tesla tells me my car can’t do what a car manufactured in 2024 can do because the software is incompatible is a damn slap in the face.

This guy is the biggest Tesla hater I’ve ever seen. Hw4 self driving is genuinely the most advanced system on the market by far and literally only makes navigational mistakes for me. I do understand the hw3 issue and I think that’s why they switched to the subscription model so no one pays the whole amount for a car that could be outdated soon.

A good rule of thumb is it's not real self driving unless the company assumes liability for crashes. Waymo is real self driving, Tesla is beta software with inadequate hardware pretending to be self driving.
