im not looking for an argument, only genuine conversation. every other invasive species is culled except for cats. why? what’s the difference between a cat who is invasive and a python who is invasive? or spotted lantern flies? or all the other species. genuinely what makes a difference.

Argued with someone thanking an owner for not spay aborting because "kittens deserve life." Thats exactly the point we can agree on, kittens deserve a safe comfortable life and new kittens not even born yet are taking their spot. They are born to suffer because you think they "deserve" it

@VianneyERios: I adopted my cat her name is Maila from the streets by the time, I was able to get her inside her house and take her to the vet. She was already pregnant and I did not know enough about feline abortion on her last checkup. They actually told us that she was only about one year old after she had her kittens, I adopted out four out of six kittens and kept two of her babies since then we have moved into a rural country area. She will be getting spayed here in a couple months (fastest availability in my area), but for now us moving, helped her it’s not going into heat as bad since she is not around male cats and even then, if I would’ve known, she would’ve gotten an abortion because she was just a baby😭

I wish thr places near me made it easier to tnr, but you have to schedule it a month in advance and hope you catch the cat the night before or you lose your money you paid

Tnr doesn't work to the extent that it needs to. tnr has been done for centuries but that doesn't bring back the 63+ species cats have caused the extinction of. if they can't be brought indoors as indoor cats they need to be culled. I'm so tired of people caring more about invasive species and just letting them go back out to kill local wildlife. how is it more unethical to trap and ethically put down a cat instead of letting it die a often slow and painful death while devastating the environment?

tnr doesn’t do anything, those cats are STILL out there causing harm euthanizing is the only option, like somebody else said, EVERY other invasive species is fine to cull but not cats for some reason
