if the food processor is just for the graham cracker crust just throw the graham crackers in a large ziploc bag and smack it with a rolling pin

Just make it in a pie dish, and leave it in the dish to serve it. use your blender for whatever they’re telling you to use the food processor for

Baking era activated! You can't ice skate for a bit so it's valid to spend more on bakery equipment 🤷🏻♀️

Blender > food processor. Otherwise I just say go for it, especially if it’ll unlock a new hobby! I’m a very amateur baker (like think cake pops and basic cookies lmao) but I loveee baking treats in the fall/holidays

I say make it! You should only need to buy a thermometer and the torch, the food processor is a bougie blender basically. I would recommend buying a spring form pan if you like to bake (especially cheese cakes) but if you don’t want to, a regular cake pan should work lined with parchment paper 🙂 just be careful taking it out

You could get the ninja that’s a blender and a food processor all in one if you’re gonna go that route. If you already have a blender, you can use a blender as a food processor on pulse mode.

I’ve made this and i used a regular pie plate a regular thermometer and no food processor and it turned out great!! if I were to purchase one thing I would invest in a springform pan for this specific recipe 😊

What do you need the food processor for? If it's just making graham cracker crumbs, put them in a ziplock bag and crush. You could do a Swiss meringue instead of Italian as well.

You can put the pie under the broiler setting in your oven. It won’t look quite the same but will achieve a similar effect. Also if the food processor is just for the crust, you can easily make it by hand 🙂

if you are not an avid baker i PERSONALLY would not put in that much money into something you’re only going to use once or twice. you can see if your local library loans out any of those things or if there’s any neighborhood facebook pages maybe?
