You should probably trim your ends idk if they are also damaged but if they are trimming them can help with your overall hair as it stops damage from traveling up the hair shaft and also from causing bad breakage

I would say use hair bonding products constantly to help repair your damaged curls and keep them hydrated/ moisturized. Until you get ur curls back, use flexi rods to help with curl formation and mousse will work very well for that. No one can tell you ur hair type until we see ur curls non damage or it’ll be inaccurate

try a hair jelly! it’s light weight & forms a gel cast, you just need to scrunch out the gel cast once your hair is dry. i naturally have medium-thick wavy hair & recently went for a curly cut. she suggested i use a light weight curl cream, mousse & gel. (also if you have fine hair/oily roots don’t use anything w shea butter as it can weigh your curls down & make your hair oilier. i use this jelly:

Gel is supposed to make your hair crunchy after diffusing or air drying. You then scrunch in oil to break the cast so your hair won’t be crunchy anymore and by using gel your hair lasts longer. Also for more volume u should try covering your middle part when wet. Your hair is gorgeous

super cute. my hair is the same way now bc of damage. if you ever want a less volume look- diffuse on cool for like 10-15mins and then just let it air dry. if you can let it air dry without diffusing even better

you would definitely look better with more defined curls so you might want to get the bounce curl define brush i think it’s called and instead of using mousse use gel and i recommend the nyc curls brand

if I makes it crunchy it's because there is too much and I recommend the Schwarzkopf curl mousse the green one because I had damaged hair just like you and I use this product and I brought out my curls and lasts all day💗🤗
