Most anti-inflammatories work on the surface of your cells. This tiny peptide is small enough to slip inside and switch inflammation off at the source 🧬 It's called KPV — one of the smallest peptides studied for inflammation, just three amino acids. That tiny size is the whole point: most molecules act on the outside of a cell, but KPV is small enough to actually get inside. Here's why that matters: inflammation is driven by signals inside the cell — one main one is a master switch called NF-κB. Once it flips on, it drives the whole inflammatory cascade. KPV is studied to get inside and quiet that pathway directly — turning down the signal at its control centre, instead of just blocking one messenger on the outside. Muting the source vs swatting the output. That's why it's researched for gut and skin inflammation. It's also a fragment of a bigger hormone (α-MSH) and keeps some antimicrobial properties too. Honest bit: mostly preclinical so far, human research still limited. Promising mechanism, not a proven treatment. ⚠️ Not medical advice — for educational purposes only. Did you know a peptide could work from inside the cell? 👇 #inflammation #guthealth #biohacking #healthfacts #wellness
