When I found a lump in my left breast I immediately called my OBGYN and got an appointment. I met with an RN who gave me a physical, she stated, “you’re way too young for this to be cancer. this is nothing to worry about.” I pushed for an ultrasound referral, she pushed back. I won. I was diagnosed with breast cancer ten days after my ultrasound and biopsy was taken AT MY REQUEST. In December I’ll be celebrating 5 years of survivorship.

I got an ultrasound on my right breast because I felt a bump but my left breast had a red mark and it hurt. I asked to scan it as well. The nurse said no because my order didn’t say bilateral. I made a huge scene that the doctor came and said just scan her… guess what they found! A TUMOR! On my LEFT breast. “Wow, had you not advocated for yourself you never would’ve known!” Sorry, is that supposed to make me feel better??? By the grace of God it’s benign

I had the same sized cyst, in Canada. It bumped me to top of the list and surgery in a month (free). They did an MRI within a week. Definitely medically necessary. This is insane. I'm so sorry how this happened.

Ok. They literally did every single thing wrong ESPECIALLY HRT post gynecological cancer. 😳 Anything over 5cm is recommended for surgical removal and surveillance. Girl, sue the absolute CRAP out of them and throw yourself a millionaire living wake. I’m so sorry you were failed and I also was (ended up having bone cancer and it was called a winged scapula). Man, the pitchforks I’d be carrying. I will ride at dawn for you
