Can you imagine having such a relationship with Jesus, I don’t think they were just teacher and student I believe that they truly loved and cared for one another in a deeper sense they were best friends who depended on each other. Imagine knowing your best friend is meant for something great and being so proud to be able to walk beside him hoping that they’d be happy and realizing that they’re glory won’t feel glorious but will fill you with a sorrow that disable you for the rest of your life. He throws himself into poverty and weeps everyday for his lord and best friend. I wonder what he thought of, did he in some sense regret it or did he think that he may have been able to prevent it or do you think he knew at the end of the day he couldn’t have done anything and there’s nothing anyone could’ve done and that’s what’s pains him so much?
