I had this bad for a couple of years. Tried EVERYTHING! I have Elidel rx, apply it every night and it has never come back!

Ugh. I did 8 weeks on Doxycycline in May/ June. The meds killed me and so many side effects. It was however the only thing they fully worked.

Hypochlorious acid spray religiously, and allllll the azelaic acid. It’s mostly prescribed for rosacea but I was prescribed it years ago and found a huge difference. However, now I find the Anua Azeliac Acid serum is fab, AND Biossances Squalane Probiotic Gel moisturizer. I do keep an extensive skincare routine and these will never leave.

Honestly the weirdest easiest thing that I found after trying so many things nutrogena acne cream in a tube has worked amazingly. I put it on first thing in the morning before anything else then follow up with a medicube day cream. 🙏 for Arthur poor little guy.

Omg I had this last yr for months😭🫠 only thing that saved me was changing toothpaste to fluoride free, doing red light mask 10mins blue light 10 mins every other night, & stopping all skincare to basic Cerave/cetaphil till it cleared up!!

Have you tried the Dr. Jart+ cicapair? It won’t get rid of it medically but it def helps!

La Roche Posay Cicaplast I find is really good for soothing and calming the redness! I cake it on my face when it’s really flaring up!

I tried literally everything to clear my POD, 3 rounds of doxy, ellidel, metro gel, steroids. Finally got a second referral to another dermatologist and Dr.Brown-Maher put me on low dose Accutane (10mg) for 6 months and it completely cleared it up. Haven’t had a flare up since, it’s been 3 years! Can’t recommend Dr.brown-Maher enough!

My daughter deals with this periodically. I’m gonna send yoy something on IG I found from a creator who has this and has done deep dive on products etc. We have had to get a prescription cream. But dialling back the products is key. We had to change sunscreens, and she’s just using a really basic cetaphil or cerave cleanser and I got her an avene cream that came highly recommended. It’s clearing up

Take zinc. Only for up to 2months. Then copper because it will deplete. I’ve never had it personally, but a 4 of Emma/Esmae’s friends asked me to help them with theirs. It worked.
