@thepalatablelife: hiking mount fuji!!! had to reshare this one since it’s been almost exactly 3 years since we did this unforgettable hike. we had soo much fun i already wanna do it again! i know i mention being in the clouds a lot haha but eating ramen in the clouds was one of the most magical things i've ever done!! i'll put some faqs i've gotten in the past about this hike, and let me know if you have any other questions in the comments! - the trail we did was a 9 mile loop! it took us 4 hrs up, 2 hrs down, and we spent over an hour at the top. - we started in the morning and finished in the afternoon. we did it relatively fast and didn't have any altitude sickness! if you're worried about altitude sickness, there are stations on the way up with bunks you can sleep in to help your body adjust. - each of the stations along the way have snacks and water you can buy, then obviously the full meals at the top! it makes it nice to not have to overly pack since you can fuel all along the way. #mountfuji #whatieat #Hiking #japan
