@hodalima: What is Aqeedah & Why the Sahabahs? 1. Aqeedah? In Arabic, the word comes from ’Aqd which means to tie a firm, unbreakable knot. Aqeedah isn't just a list of theological rules you memorize. It is the unshakeable conviction tied so deeply into your heart that nothing in this world can untie it. 2. Why the Sahabah? Because they were the purest in heart, the deepest in knowledge, the most truthful in speech, and the most refined in character. They didn't learn their belief from dense, complicated philosophy books or abstract logic. Their proof of Tawheed (Monotheism) was looking up at the sky, contemplating the mountains, and listening directly to the words of the Prophet ﷺ. When revelation came down, they didn't make excuses or debate, they submitted with pure love and immediate action.
