@sacsheriff: At the end of every academy class, recruits honor the fallen deputies of the Star 6 crash and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The tradition begins at the Star 6 Memorial, where the recruits run to the crash site before taking on a grueling workout. As they push themselves physically, they reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who came before them and gain a deeper understanding of the weight carried by the deputies who responded to the Star 6 crash that day. For Class 26-SBRA-1, this tradition marked one of the final challenges of their academy journey. After completing this workout and all the other training, tests, and tasks along the way, these recruits have earned their place at the finish line and are now ready to graduate on Monday.
