@eatsbydae: Houston! I tried this new spot in River Oaks called Jordyn’s Steak & Seafood, @Jordynshospitality and I have to say… I really enjoyed it. The jerk crab fingers were SO good! They were actually my favorite dish of the night aside from my steak. I also had the Oyster Rockefeller, and while some of the oysters were a little overcooked, the jerk crab sauce really enhanced the flavor and brought the dish together. I was highly impressed! Shoutout to our waitress, Spree, for the recommendation. I highly recommend trying them that way. Now let’s talk about the cowboy ribeye. Whew! This was one of those steaks that practically melts in your mouth, especially with the addition of the garlic butter sauce. The collard greens with turkey were seasoned really well. At one point, they were almost a little too well-seasoned for me, but once we stirred and mixed everything together, the flavors balanced out nicely. The lobster mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy, and had the perfect texture. Although I enjoyed the dish, I will say the lobster didn’t add much to it for me. Honestly, the mac & cheese itself was the star. I loved seeing the variety of seafood options on the menu, especially for the pescatarians. I opted for the crab and lobster-stuffed branzino, and that was definitely a good choice. 🦀🦞🐟 And I couldn’t leave without dessert! I ended the meal with the butter cake, and BABY… it was moist, not too sweet, and just phenomenal. Definitely one of those desserts where you’re already full but somehow keep finding room for another bite. 😂 And the vibe? Grown and sexy without trying too hard. Definitely somewhere I’d go for a nice dinner or date night when I want to get dressed, eat good food, and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, Jordyn’s made a really good first impression. The food, seafood selection, and atmosphere all made for a great night. I’d definitely go back to explore more of the menu. #houston #houstonrestaraunts #datenight
