Id say most of that was creepy or jerk behavior, but I would reflect if someone told me I was catching to many of the waves.

I loved to paddle out with my daughters for this reason....it's funny, we'd be in the line up surrounded by dudes and I'd be off by myself away from my daughters and one of my daughters would yell something like "dad what time is it?" and the dudes would look over at me watching over them and I can hear them say "dad? that's her dad?"...they left them alone after that....but many times the dudes knew who my daughters were and left them alone.....
