same problem. it’s just not powerful enough to clean good. you have to prewash all the time, literary scrub everything, otherwise it will always come out foggy and it’s not build up from

I just use tap water. I live in Alberta with hard water, so not sure if that makes a difference. But no issues with residue.

It’s because your tap water is too hard. You can try boiling the water first or maybe getting a water softener for the house. Unfortunately that’s just an issue that’ll keep happening because of the minerals in the water unless a change to the actual water is made. I also recommend descaling your machine once a week! They sell descaling tablets or you can use vinegar as well🥰

I’ve been using filtered water. We have a brita filter and we barely have any residue or build up. Then we descale every month or so.

I swear by ours! But I do descale it quite often and take the pieces out to deep clean it often as well, and I haven’t had that residue since. try that😊

I always do a quick wash with dapple baby and slightly scrub the bottle and nipple. I also put them in there a little soapy and add a tablet. There’s a cheaper version of the mom cozy ones that were great ! I NEVER put anything in there dirty after a feeding because I just don’t trust it’ll get in there completely and get rid of residue and I feel like that helped because my washer never got dirty or gunky like I’ve seen others when they’d change the filter. Plus I only ever used sink water 🤷🏻♀️my daughter is now 12 months and has never had any issues or thrush.

I use tap water. I wash it once a month with vinegar and water (put it into the water reservoir) make sure you’re rinsing the bottles out with hot water first before putting them in there. I have a plastic tub of hot water I just sit them in there as I go through the day and at the end of the night put them in.

We use the fridge water and it works just fine! The tap water made it so cloudy, also descaling at least once a month
